Hi I’m Lisa. I’m a UX researcher. Before that I was a behavior analyst and worked with kids who needed a little extra help. Some of them had autism and some had other challenges. I loved it. Now you may be wondering how does one go from being a behavior analyst to becoming a UX researcher. Honestly it was somewhat accidental as I met a few UX researchers and designers at a behavioral economics Meetup, a field I am fascinated by, and it was at that moment that I knew I had to learn more about what they did. Ironically they were also intrigued and interested in what I was doing.
In both fields, behavior analysis and user research, you are defining a problem, collecting data, analyzing data, and looking for the best solution.
